In March, Desi Heat officially turned one.
Over the past year, we’ve hosted 20+ events, collaborated with 10+ DJs, and brought together 1,000+ attendees across the Bay Area.
We shared a glimpse of that journey here: 👉 instagram.com/p/DVXU5FJEuDY
One of the most common questions we kept hearing was:
“When are you bringing Desi Heat to the East Bay?”
On April 24 — we answered that.
In partnership with Raya in Dublin, we launched Desi Heat: Rangisaari — our first East Bay edition. 👉 desidjparty.com/event-details/desi-heat-rangisaari-east-bay-edition
Â
Why East Bay Was Different
The East Bay doesn’t really have a strong nightclub scene.
So bringing Desi Heat here wasn’t just about finding a venue — it was about creating the experience from scratch.
We needed partners who understood the vibe.
Realtor Hema Shankar and Shankar (Raya owner) had both experienced Desi Heat firsthand. Hema had also supported multiple events as a sponsor — so there was already trust and alignment.
After a few conversations, everything clicked.
We chose Raya with one bold idea:
Take a restaurant space… and turn it into a full-blown Desi party hall after hours.
And on April 24 — that’s exactly what we did.
From restaurant… to Desi Heat 🔥
What Happened That Night
It exceeded expectations.
Sold out. Packed room. Unreal energy.
Once the music kicked in, Raya didn’t feel like a restaurant anymore.
It felt like a proper Desi party hall.
That was the signal:
The East Bay is ready.
So we’re bringing it back.

What We’re Doing Better for May 29
We’re now working toward the next edition on May 29 — with one key upgrade:
Â
The BYOB Experience — Done Right

Since Raya operates with beer & wine only, we created a way to elevate the night without compromising the energy.
The idea is simple:
👉 You bring one liquor bottle 👉 We handle everything else
Â
We take care of:
•       Reserved table setup
•       Ice + mixers (club soda, etc.)
•       Celebration touches — sparkling candles, song requests, DJ shoutouts
Â
A couple of groups planned ahead, called us, and fully leaned into it.
And it showed.
They had their own setup, their own space — while still being in the middle of the dance floor energy.
No bar lines. No markup. No chaos.
That’s when it clicked:
This isn’t a workaround — it’s actually a better experience.
So for May 29, we’re rolling this out intentionally.
Â
⚠️ Only 4 BYOB Table Experiences
We’re keeping this tight.
•       Venue capacity: 70–80 people
•       BYOB tables available: 4 only
•       Each table: up to 8 people + reserved space
Â
That’s nearly half the venue locked in.
Once these are gone — they’re gone.
Â
🚀 BYOB Priority Access — Request Early Access
Instead of opening everything publicly, we’re starting with people who actually want to plan for this experience.
👉 If you’re interested, express interest here:
We’ll offer access on a first come, first served basis before tickets go public.
